The Big Five were traditionally the most dangerous animals to be hunted in days gone by. They are lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard and are still considered the ultimate game to view on a safari. While sightings of any wild game can never be guaranteed, there are some locations where you have a much higher chance of being successful and we can point you in the right direction.

“The power of the sun drives the seasons, transforming our planet. Vast movements of ocean and air currents bring dramatic change throughout the year. And in a few special places, these seasonal changes create some of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth.”
David Attenborough, The Great Migration
The drama of almost two million animals - wildebeest as well as zebra and gazelle - completing their death-defying annual migration has been well documented, but the thrill of actually witnessing this in person cannot be surpassed. At Saseka Safaris we focus on creating a migration safari which is conservationally responsible.
